I created this short film for my final major project at college.

My inspirations for this short film are the themes of adolescence, the intense feeling of nostalgia which never leaves you, womanhood, and the song “you’re on your own, kid” by Taylor Swift.
This song is very personal to myself and many other people, stating; you’ve always been on your own and look how much you’ve accomplished despite that!!!!

I found this short film very challenging to make mentally, as essentially, it’s about myself and my own life I am experiencing right now and the battles I am facing in my own head. Whilst I know I am not alone, I still feel it sometimes.

Sharing this with people has felt very vulnerable and scary, but I am very proud of it (it is yet to be graded as I type this) and want to share my creations with the world :)
